Alright, Dads...
My son Logan, just release this fun video project for his media class. He tackles, "Dad Things." Being marked as the "class dad," he goes in search of helpful dad tips. What follows is a humorous share of advice from fellows dads. Take a few minutes to watch the video!

Last week, I posted the printed version of my Christmas Day message at Hickory Church. This week I was able to get a hold of the audio version and create a podcast. So if you want to list to my Christmas Day message, here it is!

A new day, a new week, a new year, all at once. New Years fell on a Sunday this year, kicking off a brand everything! But today is Monday, January 2nd, 2017, and I've taken a few minutes to sit down at the computer and type up a few thoughts.
2016. It was a good year. A growing year. A year that has taught me a lot. It has challenged me, stretched me. It has allowed me to look at what God has been teaching me. It was a year to consider my priorities, and think through what God has been showing me.
So as I step into 2017, I do so with excitement and anticipation. 2017 will be a year of change. Good change. Change I think I have been ready for, but have been avoiding for a long time. 2017. Here we go. It's time to get this year started. It's time to walk in faith and watch what God does. 2017 is going to be fun! - jay
