meet jay
Jay Higham is a veteran youth worker of almost 30 years; having worked with students in the local church and Christian camping settings. Jay is currently serving as the Director of Family Ministry at Covenant Community Church, in Wheeling, WV. Jay has been married to Amy for 24 years. Together, they are raising 5 kids, (4 boys and 1 girl). Jay is an aspiring author, blogger, speaker, vlogger, and social media junkie. He is also the host of our new podcast, Conversations with Every Day Youth Workers! Jay is passionate about student ministry, family ministry, and connecting and networking with youth workers to help them serve their students with passion and excellence.

Maybe you saw the TikTok video that went viral last Friday. While in the office, an employee, recorded his co-worker dancing the the C+C Music Factory hit, Everybody Dance Now (Gonna Make You Sweat). The video already has a huge following of spin-offs, parodies, and copy-cats spreading the viral effect.
I thought it would be fun to have our student leadership team jump on the bandwagon and create our own version of the video as something fun for our students to see. But then I thought, why limit it to just our student leadership team? Why not get the pastors involved? Participation was optional, and I was thrilled to get a handful of videos from some of our team.
So here it is, Our own spin on the "Everybody Dance Now" video. Enjoy!

This was so much fun! And, I am so grateful for the willingness of our pastors and my student leadership team to show off their dance moves! I work with an amazing group of folks who love Jesus, love our students, and love to have fun!
