Ministry Recap - 02.08.2022

This past Tuesday night we hosted what we call, Welcome Night. Welcome Night is a night designed for fun and connection with our students. ​It's an opportunity for our students to bring friends, play some games, and just have fun. We've made a number of changes to our student gathering for 2022. I share those changes in a series of vlogs and blogs coming up in just a couple of weeks.

This weeks Message Summary

This week, as focus was on connecting and having fun with our students, so we did not do our regular worship and teaching time. So we went over some of the discipleship and bible study opportunities that are coming up in the next couple of weeks, including our next teaching series called, God, Guys, and Girls, which will begin on Tuesday, February 15th. I'll talk more about the series next week.

Meet Jay

Jay Higham is a veteran youth worker of over 30 years; having worked with students in the local church and Christian camping settings. Jay is currently serving as the Director of Family Ministry at Covenant Community Church, in Wheeling, WV. Jay has been married to Amy for 25 years. Together, they are raising 5 kids, (4 boys and 1 girl). Jay is an aspiring author, blogger, speaker, vlogger, and social media junkie. He is also the host of our new podcast, Conversations with Every Day Youth Workers! Jay is passionate about student ministry, family ministry, and connecting and networking with youth workers to help them serve their students with passion and excellence.
