I highlighted four areas in which a youth worker might want to consider setting goals. Areas such as spiritual growth, self discipline, the importance of networking, and adopting the idea that leaders should be learners, can help encourage youth workers to work for more in both their ministry and personal lives.
After posting the series, I started thinking about my goals for 2020. Why areas in my personal life and in my ministry career do I want to see growth, improvement, and health? What do I want to strive for in this new year? Well, here they are, ten goals for 2020. 7. I want to spend more time with my wife and kids creating memories and laughing more.
8. I want to write and illustrate my next two children’s books. 9. I want to get some work done around the new house. 10. I want to be able to replace my wife’s wedding band. It’s been repaired and repaired and repaired. It just needs to be replaced. There you go, ten goals for 2020. So...what goals are you setting for the new year? - jay
